The foam snowflake
Total Time: 15 minutes
Step 1: Gather materials

Prepare the materials and tools you need to create a foam snowflake.
Step 2: Cut 8 strips
![Cut 8 strips Cut 8 strips](https://www.easyhandmadeideas.com/wp-content/uploads/3-cut-8-strips.jpg)
You will need to cut 8 identical strips of blue glitter foam. They are 10cm x 1cm (3,9370″ x 0,3937″). You can change the size a bit, but stick to the same proportion as mine.
Step 3: Fold the strip in half and make cuts
![Fold the strip in half and make cuts Fold the strip in half and make cuts](https://www.easyhandmadeideas.com/wp-content/uploads/4-fold-the-strip-in-half-and-make-cuts.jpg)
Next, you need to make certain cuts in each of these strips. To do this, fold the strip in half and then make a couple of cuts on the folded side that are slightly shorter than the opposite edge.
Step 4: Unfold the strip
![Unfold the strip Unfold the strip](https://www.easyhandmadeideas.com/wp-content/uploads/5-unfold-the-strip.jpg)
Unfold the strip. You should be able to do this.
Step 5: Glue the two ends of the strip together

Heat up the glue gun. Apply some hot glue to the tip of the strip, and then attach it to the other end. In this case, you should get such a blank like the one in the photo. This will be one of the rays of the future snowflake.
Step 6: Repeat the previous step

You need to make 8 of the same identical elements as in the previous step.
Step 7: Roll the strip

Cut another 10 x 1 cm (3,9370″ x 0,3937″) strip of blue foam, and then twist it into a tight roll, fixing the tip with glue.
Step 8: Glue the pieces to the roll
![Glue the pieces to the roll Glue the pieces to the roll](https://www.easyhandmadeideas.com/wp-content/uploads/9-glue-the-pieces-to-the-roll.jpg)
You need to glue the rays to this piece. First, glue the 4 pieces together by placing them on opposite sides of each other.
Step 9: Glue all the pieces together

Glue the last 4 rays to the piece.
Step 10: Use a small circle from foam
